Decades from now, 2004 will still be remembered for the natural calamity that led to one of the most massive losses of life in the history of humankind. I pray for the souls of those who left our lives so unexpectedly, and also for the families they left behind. But most of all, I also pray that mankind learns from the aftermaths of the tsunamis that human life needs to be cherished always, for it can so easily be snuffed out.
