multi-blog systems for schools

multi-blog systems for schools

Unsuprisingly, it looks like I’m far from the first person to look into implementing a multiple-user blog for school use, and there sure seems to be a lot of interest in it. I do wish that I’d found this article on Google or something before I did my own research, but I doubt it’d have affected my decision to roll out pLog for some of my students or the (hopefully) imminent weblogs for teachers (just waiting for release 1.0 to…

SPG in WordPress

No, I’m not talking about Sarong Party Girls 😀 but Simple PHP Gallery. Being a very un-artistic person, I doubt I’ll be designing a Mambo template any time soon, but I just might try converting a nice template or two into Mambo. Counting down to the June school holidays….

Gallery in WordPress

Am thinking of some day tightening the integration of my current photo gallery, which is presently running on Coppermine Photo Gallery, into my blog. Sure, it’s on a theme that’s exactly the same as my blog’s, but I think it can go further. This tutorial should come in handy the day I decide to do it.

battery boosts for iPods

battery boosts for iPods

On Wednesday Apple updated its iPod lines with models that apparently boast dramatically better battery life, but most current iPod owners (like myself) probably won’t be upgrading, especially when our iPods still are just fine. Except for maybe the battery life. Though it hasn’t, strangely enough, been an issue for me. Now, it seems like iPods can get a big boost on battery lifewith these relatively cheap battery upgrades.
