Urgh, Globat might be incredibly cheap, but the frequent unbearable sluggishness is really getting to me 🙁 This can be a problem if my site gets real slow at a time when I need to do online learning with my class. So I decided to spring for a different host i.e. Focushub, which offers local i.e. Singapore-based hosting. It might not be as cheap as say differenthost but users in local forums claim that it is more reliable. Ah well, I suppose tme will tell whether this new hosting service will turn out to be better than my last two.

Focushub says that should I find the service to be unsuitable for my requirements, I can get a refund (pro-rated i.e. depending on how long I use before I send in the cancellation request). so long as I don’t sign up for the (discounted_ annual subscription, so I went for quarterly payment for now.
